Associate Degree Program
Multimedia design, by its very definition, provides unlimited opportunities for you to apply your creativity in the challenging world of communications. In Delaware Tech's Multimedia program, you'll develop the skill and experience needed to design, produce, and present creative solutions to communication problems through communications technology and media. The program blends the visual formats of video, photography, and web design necessary to bring presentations to life, with the opportunity to become Adobe certified in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, and Adobe InDesign.
You'll find this program valuable if you want to design and implement multimedia presentations, design visual content for social media applications, and have a well-developed understanding of web design.

- Structure a problem solving strategy for delivery of the client's message to his market, making efficient use of current design, production, and delivery technologies.
- Synthesize components of media delivery solutions into cohesive presentations that are technically and conceptually effective.
- Create or evaluate and select illustrative, photographic, layout, and/or responsive imagery for use in effectively evoking digital/web-based solutions for multiple devices.
- Integrate professional, ethical, and legal standards into business practice.

The Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certifications offer students a foundation for success by validating their digital skills. Certification testing is offered within the curriculum of several courses within the Visual Communication Department. Upon a successful attempt of the exam, the student is instantly able to promote the Adobe badge received and meet the popular demand of validating skills in the Adobe application.
