Math Secondary Education
Associate Degree Program
If you enjoy mathematics and working with young people, teaching at the high school level might be for you. Become a high school mathematics teacher by completing this degree and transferring to a four year college to finish. Successful graduates of this program will be able to transfer seamlessly to the University of Delaware or Delaware State University to complete their bachelor’s degree in mathematics secondary education. Students also have the option of pursuing a BA or BS in mathematics at the University of Delaware.

- Upon completion of your associate degree, you can work as a paraeducator in the school system.
- Upon completion of your bachelor’s degree, you can work as a high school mathematics teacher.
