Delaware Tech has partnered with the state to provide certified nursing assistant (CNA) training to members of the Delaware National Guard to assist with needs in Delaware’s healthcare system, which has been crippled by a surge of COVID-19 patients.

Family Establishes Trade Scholarship to Honor Husband, Father
In June 2021, the Woodrum family of Newark, DE suffered a huge loss when Ed Woodrum was involved in a fatal cycling accident. In the wake of the tragedy, Ed's family, including wife Kim, and daughters Rebecca and Jessica set up a Go Fund Me account to receive memorial gifts.

JPMorgan Chase has awarded Delaware Tech a $285,000 grant to connect the College's Information Technology and Networking (ITN) students with career exposure, internship, and employment opportunities, and to develop its first 1+1 program with Howard High School.
